Altar for the Inner Cenote is a sound piece part of Irene Fernández Arcas’s work ‘Hygeia’s Cave – Collective Regeneration Temple.’ Commissioned by Kunstmuseum Bochum.
The starting point for the sound piece was understanding water as a body with memory, agency, and knowledge, prompting contemplation of how our connection with water shapes our relationship with the world.
